LUBBOCK, Texas (Feb. 13, 2015) - The ETSU men's tennis team was defeated by No. 36 Texas Tech, 4-0, in non-conference action Friday.
Five of the Buccaneers' (1-6) six losses this season have come against ranked opponents.
After dropping its season-opening match against New Mexico, Texas Tech has won nine of the next ten matches. Overall, the Red Raiders (9-2) feature three ranked players, including Felipe Soares who was ranked No. 35 in the latest ITA Rankings.
ETSU will remain in Lubbock, Texas to take on Texas A&M Corpus Christi Saturday, Feb. 14.
