ETSU is handed its second straight loss and now sits at 0-2

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. (Jan. 16, 2016) – A few days following a 4-3 loss at No. 43 Georgia Tech, the ETSU men’s tennis team had another crack at downing a ranked ACC opponent. Unfortunately for the Bucs, however, No. 11 Wake Forest lived up to its ranking as it handed ETSU its second consecutive loss, 8-1.

ETSU picked up a pair of victories Saturday. One was in singles competition when David Biosca (Sant Fruitos de Bage, Spain) defeated Petros Chrysochos, 6-2, 6-3. Biosca also teamed with Rogerio Ribeiro (Sao Paulo, Brazil) to pick up a doubles win over No. 26 Skander Mansouri and Christian Seraphin, 6-2.

The Buccaneers will try and get their first win of the season next weekend when they travel to Seattle, Washington for three matches against No. 62 Washington, Pennsylvania and Portland.
