ETSU Athletics marks new year with family photo

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 29, 2018)– With students returning to campus and classes starting earlier this week, the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics held a Buccaneer Welcome event on Tuesday night inside Greene Stadium.

The entire athletic student body and staff came together to celebrate the start of the new year. Everyone was treated to ice cream and given an ETSU long-sleeve shirt, while then coming together to take a family photo in the shape of the “E” logo.

“Last night was a great way to bring all of our students and staff together to celebrate the start of a new year,” said ETSU Athletic Director Scott Carter. “This is our version of a Buccaneer family photo.”
