The Davis Cup is the premier international team event in men's tennis and is run by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and is contested annually between teams from competing countries in a knock-out format. It is described by the organizers as the "World Cup of Tennis", and the winners are referred to as the World Champion team.
Badra will be competing in the World Group II stage, squaring off against South Africa. The match between Venezuela and South Africa will begin on Saturday, Sept. 18 and will conclude Sunday, Sept. 19. The match will be played at Forest Hills Stadium in New York.
