Bucs set to defend four-straight SoCon titles  

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Dec. 4, 2022) – The ETSU men’s tennis team announced its 2023 schedule of competitions on Sunday. The Bucs will be in Johnson City for nine matches and will be traveling for the other 14 events.

To start the campaign, the Bucs will travel to Starkville, Miss. to take on South Alabama and Mississippi State on Jan. 14-15.

After nine straight matches on the road to open the season, the Bucs will host Troy on Feb. 14 for the home opener. A couple days later, ETSU will begin its conference schedule as the Bucs host Samford on Feb. 26.

The Bucs will make the far trip west for their third competition as they will travel to Colorado Springs, Colo. to take on both Air Force and Denver University on January 27 and 29.

As for conference play, the Bucs will host Samford, Furman and The Citadel in Johnson City, then travel to UNC Greensboro, Wofford, Mercer and Chattanooga.

To end the regular season, ETSU will host The Citadel in the final match before conference tournament play.

The 2023 Southern Conference Championship will be hosted in Chattanooga, Tenn. on April 20-22, where the Bucs look to make it five straight SoCon titles.
