Pernas earns Bucs lone point 

TUCALOOSA, Ala. (Feb. 17, 2023) – On Friday afternoon, the ETSU men’s tennis team suffered a 6-1 loss in Tuscaloosa to Alabama. Closing out an eight game road haul, ETSU steals a doubles and singles match to secure a point.

Thiago Pernas (Buenos Aires, Argentina) finished the day 2-2, earning a two-set match victory over German Samofalov with scores of 7-5 and 6-4. In his doubles contest, Pernas and Peter Kalocsai (Hungary) defeated the duo of Enzo Aguiard and Zach Foster, 6-3 to improve to a combined 3-1 as a doubles partnership.
