Bucs earn first win of the season 

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 24, 2023) – On Friday afternoon, the ETSU men’s tennis team earned its first victory in a 5-2 decision over Troy. Playing for the first time at home all season, the Bucs swept the doubles point and took four of the six singles points en route to victory.

Singles:

1. Dimitri Badra (ETSU) def. Martinez, Mario (TROY) 6-3, 6-1
2. Thiago Pernas (ETSU) def. Anton, Carles (TROY) 4-6, 6-3, 6-3
3. Andres Pastor, Yeray (TROY) def. Pedro Cressoni (ETSU) 3-6, 6-4, 6-3
4. Fabre, Jules (TROY) def. Juan Lobisano (ETSU) 6-4, 6-4
5. Lucas Britez (ETSU) def. Martens, Noah (TROY) 7-5, 3-6, 10-7
6. Francisco Lamas (ETSU) def. Erramuspe, Francisco (TROY) 7-5, 7-6

Doubles:

1. Thiago Pernas/Peter Kalocsai (ETSU) vs. Martinez, Mario/Fabre, Jules (TROY) unfinished
   2. Dimitri Badra/Juan Lobisano (ETSU) def. Llinares, Vito/Martens, Noah (TROY) 6-3
   3. Francisco Lamas/Pedro Cressoni (ETSU) def. Anton, Carles/Erramuspe, Francisco (TROY) 6-2
