Johnson City, Tenn. -- East Tennessee State juniors Jennifer Howard and Roseline Addo both broke the school record in the 400-meters this afternoon at the Florida Relays, held in Gainesville, Fla.
Howard broke the mark first with a time of 55.69. Minutes later, Addo bested Howard's mark by running a time of 55.08. Howard finished ninth in the women's 400 meter invitational while Addo finished in eighth.
On the men's side, Evan Hawkins returned a time of 47.40 to finish fourth in the men's 400 meter invitational. Josh Artau also had a strong showing. He finished seventh in the javelin by posting a throw of 183'.05" to finish seventh.
