East Tennessee State junior Roseline Addo has once again been named the Southern Conference Track & Field Female Athlete of the Week.

Addo, a junior from Newbury, England, finished fourth in the Pepsi/Walker Invitational held Jan. 26-27 at East Tennessee State. Her time of 55.87 in the 400-meters set a school record and is only .87 seconds from an NCAA Provisional qualifying time. She was second among the collegiate competitors, finishing 1.1 seconds behind the top runner from Georgia. The top two finishers in the event were members of the 2000 US Olympic 4x400 team.

"We feel that Roseline is talented enough to move on to the next level. We are confident that she will qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships," said ETSU Head Track & Field Coach Dave Walker.

Addo will be traveling with the ETSU track & field team as they take part in the Clemson Invitational on Feb. 2-3.
