ETSU cross country and track and field teams lend a helping hand to Habitat for Humanity

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 19, 2004) - The East Tennessee State University cross country and track and field teams helped put the finishing touches on a home with Habitat for Humanity this past Saturday in Kingsport, Tenn.

            Over 30 ETSU student-athletes took part in the event. They took on various tasks including hanging doorframes, paving a driveway, landscaping, putting on doorknobs, and cleaning up the site to prepare it for when the family will move in.
