Ricciardi finishes third at Mason Last Chance Meet

Anna Marie Ricciardi closed out her indoor season with a third place finish.

Fairfax, Va. (February 26. 2006) - Junior Anna Marie Ricciardi (Canfield, Ohio) fell short of her bid for an NCAA Provisional qualifying mark Sunday afternoon, finishing third in the high jump at the Mason Last Chance Meet.

Ricciardi jumped 1.65 meters (5-5), well short of the NCAA Provisional mark of 1.76 meters (5-9). Anna Raynor of UNC Wilmington won the event with a leap of 1.70 meters (5-7).

Ricciardi set a personal best earlier this season at the Niswonger Invitational, coming up just short of the qualifying mark then with a jump of 1.75 meters (5-8.75).
