BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (June 16, 2012) – Totaling a personal best 6,976 points in the decathlon on Saturday at the 2012 USA Jr. Outdoor Track and Field Championships, freshman K'Vonte Scott (Virginia Beach, Va.) took fifth place and earned USA Jr. All-American status at Indiana's Robert C. Haugh Track.

ATLANTA and CLEMSON, S.C. (May 12, 2012) – Freshman Katerina Vodova (Humpolec, Czech Republic) took first place in the women’s long jump at the Clemson Qualifier, while the ETSU men’s and women’s track and field teams posted three top 15 finishes at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Friday and Saturday to conclude the first two meets of a final three-meet weekend.

LYNCHBURG, Va. (May 8, 2012) -- ETSU track and field freshman Katerina Vodova (Humpolec, Czech Republic) scored 5,208 points in the heptathlon on Tuesday at the Lynchburg College Open, taking third place in the event and nearing the current NCAA qualifying mark.
CLEMSON, S.C. (May 5, 2012) – Freshman Marek Navratil (Olomouc, Czech Republic) cleared a career-best height of 2.09m to take first place in the men’s high jump and highlight the ETSU track and field program’s outing on Saturday at the Bob Pollock Invitational hosted by Clemson University at the Rock Norman Track and Field Complex.

(May 5, 2012) – The Atlantic Sun Conference announced the members of its first-ever men’s and women’s outdoor track and field Academic All-Conference Teams on Friday, with former Science Hill standouts Jasmine Foster (Johnson City, Tenn.) and Lexie Burley (Johnson City, Tenn.) being voted to the women’s team, and throwers Justin Burton (Bastian, Va.) and Cornell Sneed (Miami, Fla.) landing on the men’s team.

MACON, Ga. (April 27, 2012) – After the ETSU men’s track and field team won its third Atlantic Sun Outdoor Championship last weekend, the A-Sun announced its annual awards as voted on by the league’s coaches, with Dave Walker being selected Coach of the Year.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (April 21, 2012) – The ETSU men’s track and field team took the 2012 Atlantic Sun Outdoor Championships down to the final event with Kennesaw State, and prevailed by combining for 223 total points to slip past the Owls mark of 220.5 and win its third outdoor conference title on Saturday at UNF's Hodges Stadium.

(April 20, 2012) – The ETSU men’s and women’s track and field teams completed day one of competition in the 2012 Atlantic Sun Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday at the UNF’s Hodges Stadium, with the men’s team in second place just one point behind current leader Kennesaw State, while the women’s side resides in fifth.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 18, 2012) – The ETSU men’s track and field team erased a 26-point, day-one deficit to Kennesaw State and took a 10-point lead heading into the final two events on Saturday at the Atlantic Sun Indoor Championships, but could not hold on as KSU overtook the Bucs in the 5000m and finished third in the 4x400m relay to edge ETSU by five points, 177-172, and celebrate its third indoor title in five years.

(Feb. 17, 2012) – The ETSU men’s and women’s track and field teams completed day one of the 2012 Atlantic Sun Indoor Championships on Friday at the ETSU/MSHA Athletic Center, as the men’s team sits in fourth place with 31 total points and the women’s team sits in third after racking up 38 points.

NEW ORLEANS (Aug. 11, 2011) – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its men’s and women’s Division I All-Academic Track and Field teams, and both the Bucs and Lady Bucs were recognized for their hard work on the track and in the classroom.
