Comments from ETSU Director of Track & Field George Watts

“Today’s competition was successful as our three multi-event athletes competed in the first day of their event.”

“Nathan Rivera had a nice day and leads the competition with a day one decathlon personal best score. I feel confident he will follow that up with a solid day tomorrow.”

“Ben Johnson had an injury that has forced him out of most of the competition. He will work on his throwing events during the remainder of the decathlon.”

“Adriana Watkins performed well on day one in her first heptathlon. She currently sits third and has some strong events on day two of the heptathlon.”
