CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 19, 2016) – The ETSU Outdoor Track and Field program wrapped up it's first meet of the outdoor season on Saturday as the Buccaneers put together a strong performance in day three of the 49er Classic.

During the three day meet the Buccaneers had two event winners to go along with seven top ten finishes.

We had a solid first meet at the Charlotte 49ers classic. We had two wins with Ashley Kessler winning the pole vault and Thomas miller returning from a winter injury to win the 800 meter race," said track and field/cross country director George Watts. "Nathan Rivera had a good meet as he showed solid improvement in the hurdles and javelin as he begins to prepare for the decathlon."
