Head Coach Randy Sanders addressed the media and was joined by junior tight end Nate Adkins (Knoxville, Tenn.) and redshirt-sophomore linebacker Donovan Manuel (Ellenwood, Ga.).

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 18, 2021) -- ETSU men’s basketball will have two of its Southern Conference games televised on ESPNU this season as the league office announced its broadcast schedule on Monday.

Khamis and Lamas Claim Title in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 17, 2021) – The 2021 Louisville Invitational featured some bright spots for the ETSU Men’s Tennis squad as Yusuf Khamis (Cairo, Egypt) and Francisco Lamas (Maracay, Venezuela) captured the B-Draw doubles title with three consecutive wins. In all, the Bucs sent four competitors to Louisville, including Juan Sebastian Zabala (Guayaquil, Ecuador) and Juan Lombisano (Buenos Aires, Argentina).

Bucs fall to Bulldogs, 2-0

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 17, 2021) -- Facing a Samford team, who has already locked up the Southern Conference regular season title, ETSU women’s soccer suffered a 2-0 setback to the Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon from Summers-Taylor Stadium.


Bucs Unable to Continue Offensive Showing, Fall to Terriers in Three

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Oct. 16, 2021) – With a hot streak at hand, the Bucs were met with another high-powered offense as Wofford swept ETSU (21-25, 14-25, for their 10th victory of their campaign. This marks the first road conference loss for ETSU this fall, and three straight losses in Spartanburg. Samantha Shafer (Franklin, Tenn.) led the Bucs with eight kills on .350 hitting.

Belogay Notches Top-10 Finish Overall, Bucs Place Third

HUDDLESTON, Va. (Oct. 16, 2021) – In the second qualifying race of the fall campaign, freshman Izi Belogay (Sterling, Va.) paced the Bucs in the return to her home state, finishing sixth overall out of a field of 93, and fourth among Division I schools. Belogay finished with a 1:03:28.0 thanks to the fourth-best run time at 20:23. The freshman’s performance helped ETSU garner a third-place team finish with 66 points.

Men's Soccer

ETSU Pitches Shutout in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Va. (Oct. 16, 2021) – The ETSU Men’s Soccer team secured its first Southern Conference victory of the season on Saturday with a 3-0 shutout over VMI in Lexington, Va. With the win, the Bucs improved to 4-5-3 on the campaign, including 1-1-2 in league action. Meanwhile, VMI drops to 1-13-0 (0-5-0 SoCon) following the loss.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Oct. 16, 2021) – The quest for 7-0 has to go through the enemy territory of in-state rival, Chattanooga. The Bucs are poised and ready for the challenge against their conference foes, with hopes of returning the Rail Rivalry trophy to Johnson City. Kickoff between the two foes will commence today at 1:30 p.m. at Finley Stadium in downtown Chattanooga.
