JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 8, 2007) -- With the school year wrapping up, members of the administrative staff for ETSU's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics took time out of their schedules Tuesday to help in the building of a Habitat for Humanity home in Elizabethton.
The house will provide a new home for Elizabethton resident Lora Morrison and her three children, and everyone involved in the community service effort was pleased to be a part of the construction.
"Any time you get a chance to do something for someone else, it makes you feel good," said Director of Regional Athletic Advancement and Outside Sales Kevin Bostian. "I think all of us were blessed to be out here today."
Members of the department that took part in the event included Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dave Mullins, as well as Bostian, Jo Anne Paty, Wayne Miller, Barbie Breedlove, Kirsten Clark, Barb Mason, Michael White, Bob Baker and Phillip Al-Mateen.
ETSU athletics strives for 100 percent participation in community service efforts by coaches, administrators and student-athletes. For more on ETSU community service efforts, visit ETSUBucs.com.
