NEW ORLEANS (Nov. 5, 2016) – Competing in its first-ever national championship, the ETSU women’s triathlon team posted a third-place team finish and had three competitors place in the Top 15 spots among NCAA sponsored teams Saturday in the Women’s Collegiate Triathlon National Championships at the New Orleans Lakefront.

GREENSBORO, N.C. (Oct. 2, 2016) – The ETSU women’s triathlon team competed in the East Regional Qualifier Sunday afternoon in Greensboro, N.C. The Bucs finished fourth at the event with senior McKenzie Killian (Bluff City, Tenn.) posting the best finish for the Bucs coming in 11th with a time of 1:13:33.7.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 1, 2016) – The ETSU women’s triathlon team will compete in the East Regional Qualifier Sunday morning in Greensboro, N.C. This will be the third competition that the Bucs have taken part in their inaugural season.
OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (Sept. 18, 2016) – Senior McKenzie Killian (Bluff City, Tenn.) came in first place at Sunday’s Anchor Splash Triathlon in Oak Ridge, Tenn. Killian was not the only Buc to finish in the top five as teammate Sarah Zimmer (Farragut, Tenn.) notched a fourth place finish.
NAPERVILLE, Ill. (Sept. 5, 2016) – The ETSU women’s triathlon team competed in its first-ever race Monday morning in Naperville, Ill. at the Central Regional Qualifier. Out of 27 athletes that competed, the Bucs had a pair of top 10 finishes.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 4, 2016) – The ETSU women’s triathlon team will compete in its first ever meet Monday in Naperville, Ill. The Bucs will be one of several teams competing in the meet, which will include 800-meter swim, followed by a 20-kilometer bike ride and concluding with a 5-kilometer run.
