GREENWOOD, Ind. (May 16, 2023) – Following the Buccaneers 2023 season, College Sports Communications (CSC) announced its 2022-23 Academic All-District awards for softball this afternoon, naming ETSU third baseman Cameron Young (Knoxville, Tenn.) to the list.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (May 11, 2023) – Playing its second elimination game of the day at Southern Conference Tournament, the ETSU softball team defeated No. 4 seed Western Carolina 3-1 on Thursday evening at Frost Stadium in Chattanooga.

(May 11, 2023) – A five-run fifth inning and a complete game effort by Brianna Bailey (Wewahitchka, Fla.) kept ETSU softball’s season alive, as the Buccaneers defeated No. 3 seed Furman 6-4 in an elimination game of the Southern Conference Tournament on Thursday morning from Frost Stadium in Chattanooga, Tenn.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (May 10, 2023) – After taking an early 2-0 lead in the first inning, the ETSU softball team couldn’t hold on, as the No. 7 seed Buccaneers fell to No. 2 seed Samford, 4-2 in the Southern Conference Championship on Wednesday afternoon at Frost Stadium in Chattanooga.

The Bucs run-ruled Tennessee Tech, 11-3, after six innings in game one, while falling in the nightcap, 8-0, in five innings.
