BUIES CREEK, N.C. (March 27, 2007) - Fans can listen to all the action of ETSU's first conference softball road game Tuesday night courtesy of Campbell University by visiting www.GoCamels.com. Live stats will also be available through the same website.

 

ETSU (13-15, 1-1) has won three of its last four games, and is one of seven teams that are bunched up in the Atlantic Sun standings with a .500 mark in league play. Senior Stephanie Gaynord (Manassas, Va.) and sophomore Mary Catherine Vercoe (Signal Mountain, Tenn.) each stepped up their game in conference play last week against Kennesaw State. Gaynord hit .429 (3-7) with a double, two home runs and three RBI against the Owls, while Vercoe retired 12 of the last 13 KSU hitters en route to her third shutout of the season.
