The Dolphins are not the most explosive team in the conference, but they definitely cause a lot of problems on the base paths. As a team, JU ranks last in the A-Sun with three home runs, but the Dolphins entered weekend play in second with 56 stolen bases. Freshman shortstop Katie Kelly leads the club in hitting with her .316 average and also has a team-best 18 RBI. Senior right-hander Shannon Jensen is the ace of the Dolphins' pitching staff. Jensen is 7-10 with a 2.50 ERA (41 ER/115.0 IP) and is the league leader with 33 appearances and four saves.
