JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 26, 2008) - Head coach Andrea Mangrum and her staff released information regarding its summer camps Wednesday afternoon.
The Softball program will be conducting two All-Skills Clinics with the first lasting from June 9-10 and the second session taking place on July 23-24. In addition to the skills clinics, coach Mangrum and her staff will hold a Pitcher/Catcher and Hitting Clinic from July 21-22.
These clinics are open for campers ranging from age seven and up and each clinic will be broken into separate sections. The clinic lasts from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with an hour long lunch break scheduled in between from noon to 1 p.m. Each three-hour session focuses on skill work and the players will be paired in groups based on their ages. For the Pitcher/Catcher and Hitting Clinic, the first three hours will provide help with the pitchers and catchers, while the final session focuses on hitting skills.
The All-Skills Clinic costs $60 for the two days, and the Pitcher/Catcher Clinic costs $30 while the Hitting Clinic is also $30.
