ETSU Softball adds Tennessee, Radford to schedule; Virginia Tech game time changed
Wednesday, March 25, 2009

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 25, 2009) - Head East Tennessee State University softball coach Andrea Mangrum announced a few schedule changes for this 2009 season on Wednesday afternoon, as the Lady Bucs added two series and changed the time of their home game versus Virginia Tech.

After having three games washed out at the 2009 Frost Classic in Chattanooga in February, Mangrum was seeking to add additional games and she did so in a big way.

One game the Lady Bucs added to their slate is a single-game road contest at No. 9 Tennessee on Tuesday, April 14. The game time inside Sherri Lee Parker Stadium has still yet to be announced.

ETSU also added a home doubleheader with Radford on Friday, May 1 in Johnson City. First pitch of the double-dip is set for 5 p.m. inside the newly built ETSU Softball Complex.

The Lady Bucs also moved their game time against Virginia Tech up two hours on March 31. Instead of a 7 p.m. first pitch, ETSU will face the Hokies on its home turf at 5 p.m. in Johnson City.

ETSU continues play on Thursday afternoon when they head down to Florida and face conference foe Stetson. Game time against the Hatters is at 4 p.m.
