CULLOWHEE, N.C. (April 23, 2017) – Due to inclement weather hitting the southeast region, Sunday’s ETSU-Western Carolina softball series finale has been washed out in Cullowhee, N.C.
The teams split Saturday’s doubleheader with the Catamounts taking game one 8-3, before the Bucs winning the nightcap, 3-1.
ETSU currently sits 21-20 overall and 7-4 in the Southern Conference. The Bucs are tied with UNCG for second place in the conference standings with both teams trailing league-leading Furman by one game.
The Bucs are back in action Wednesday when ETSU wraps up non-conference play with a road doubleheader at Morehead State. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. in Morehead, Ky.
