Weather Alters Day Two of SoCon Tournament

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (May 8, 2019) – Day two of the 2019 Southern Conference Tournament has been altered due to the impending weather making its way into Chattanooga, Tenn. The league office officially announced the change on Wednesday afternoon.

All games will be moved up one hour on day two, with the first contest of the day between No. 2 Samford and No. 6 Furman commencing at 9 a.m. The Bucs will take on top-seeded UNCG 30 minutes following the conclusion of game four of the tournament (Samford vs. Furman). The original start time was 12:30 for the Bucs and Spartans but will likely be around 11:30 a.m.
