Softball Postpones Midweek Doubleheader in Boone

Twin bill to be made up at a later date

BOONE, N.C. (March 16, 2022) – Wednesday’s softball doubleheader at Appalachian State has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Boone, N.C. area. The twin bill was set to commence at 4 p.m. this afternoon. Both squads are hopeful to reschedule the event at a later time.

ETSU will now turn its focus to the Tiger Classic this weekend in Memphis, Tenn. The Bucs will begin the tournament with a 12:30 p.m. (ET) showdown against Northwestern State before clashing against host Memphis at 5 p.m. (ET). The tournament will conclude with a meeting against James Madison on Saturday at 10 a.m. (ET) followed by another battle against the Lady Demons at 12:30 p.m. (ET).
