Bucs set to face Nebraska Omaha, Southeastern Louisiana and Mississippi State

STRAKVILLE, Miss. (March 9, 2023) – The ETSU softball team will hit road for its fourth weekend tournament of the season, as the Buccaneers compete in the Bulldog Invitational in Starkville, Miss.

The Bucs will open play with a 4 p.m. matchup against Omaha on Friday afternoon before taking on the Mavericks Saturday morning at 10 a.m. To finish day two, ETSU will take on Southeastern Louisiana at 12:30 p.m. ETSU wraps up action at Nusz Park in Starkville, Miss., when the Blue and Gold will play host Mississippi State on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.

  • The Blue and Gold enter the weekend with a 4-13 record after splitting a doubleheader with Ball State on Wednesday night.

  • Sunday afternoon will be the fourth ever meeting, as MSU leads the all-time series 3-0.
