Bucs, Panthers to play doubleheader on Thursday; single game Friday 

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 15, 2023) – With rain scheduled to hit the region on Friday, ETSU softball has moved its doubleheader against Eastern Illinois to Thursday. The series will begin at 1 p.m. at Betty Basler Field, while the final game is scheduled for Friday at Noon.

ABOUT THE BUCS

• The Bucs enter the series 5-17, winning the last time out in game two of the doubleheader against Morehead State on Tuesday night.
• On a seven-game hit streak, Riley Nayadley (Ooltewah, Tenn.) leads the Bucs with 26 hits, while also producing 12 RBI.
• With a team-high 53.2 innings pitched, Brianna Bailey (Wewahitchka, Fla.) owns a 2.48 ERA, while striking out 44 batters.
• After splitting a doubleheader with Morehead State, ETSU will face back-to-back Ohio Valley Conference opponents with Eastern Illinois coming to town.
