2016 Season (Junior): Knoetze had a breakout season as a junior as she led the team hitting .338 and nine home runs...The San Diego, California native had three three-hit peformances, including a pair in the SoCon Tournament...Knoetze went 4-for-6 in the SoCon Tournament and was named to the All-Tournament squad at the conclusion of the event.
2015 Season (Sophomore): Made 12 starts and appeared in 26 games in 2015...Hit .208 with two home runs and eight RBI...Posted a .929 fielding percentage with just one error...Scored eight runs, including two in one game against Western Carolina, March 21, 2015...Received spring academic and SoCon academic honor roll honors.
2014 Season (Freshman): Emerged as a focal point of the batting order in her first year, batting .267 with six homers and 17 RBI in just 90 at bats... Had six multi-RBI games, third-best on the team... Homered and drove in three RBI in two separate games (4/1/14 vs. Eastern Ky. & 4/12/14 vs. North Florida)... Started 35 games, including 30 at the hot corner.
Prior to ETSU: Played in the Palomar League for Summer Downs and travel ball with TNL...Played first base all four years for the Broncos...Won the Poway league title in 2010 and 2013 and won the CIF title in 2013. Named Toyota Poway athlete of the week in 2013.Made 1st team All League and earned Union Tribune All Academic Team Honors in 2013. Received the Most valuable Hitter award with a .442 batting average, 46 hits and 37 RBI’s in 2013. Danielle was nominated for RBHS Athlete of the year in her senior year.
