2017 Season (Junior): Named to the 2017 SoCon Honor Roll … Played in 43 games, making 32 starts … Led the Bucs with a .375 batting average (12-for-32) in SoCon games … Totaled a career high four hits (4-for-4) in the first game of the doubleheader at UNCG on May 6 … Went 6-for-9 with two runs scored in the doubleheader split over the Spartans … Belted a pinch-hit home run in the Bucs’ 6-1 win over Samford on April 9.
2016 Season (Sophomore): Smith hit .231 in 31 games during her sophomore campaign...The Tucson, Arizona native finished second on the team with eight home runs and 24 RBI...Smith also saw significant time in the circle logging 30.2 innings...Smith finished with a 0-3 record and a 4.57 ERA as a pitcher...She did lead the team with four saves, which is the second-most by an ETSU pitcher in program history...Posted her third career multi-home run game April 17 at Mercer...Named to the SoCon Honor Roll following the season.
2015 Season (Freshman): Named to the SoCon All-Freshman squad following her first season as a Buc...Hit .295 in 129 at-bats and led the team with 12 home runs and 41 RBI...Hit two home runs and plated six runs in a March 15th game vs. Eastern Michigan...Posted nine multi-hit games as a freshman...Also had a two home run game at ECU Feb. 14...Notched 9.1 innings in the circle for ETSU and earned her first collegiate win at Appalachian State April 29.
Prior to ETSU: Earned eight athletic letters while competing at Empire High School in Tucson, Ariz...A first team All-State selection in 2012, 2013 and 2014...The 2013 Player of the Year in the state of Arizona...Named a 2014 Pre-Season All-American and was named to the squad again following the season....Tabbed the 2014 Student-Athlete of the Year at Empire High School...In 2013 led the state of Arizona with 75 RBI...Hit a total of 29 home runs in her final two years of high school...Also a threat in the circle with a 1.73 ERA.
