UTC's loss broke its five-game season-opening winning streak and it was the
first loss to East Tennessee State since the 1995 Southern Conference
Tournament. The Lady Mocs had won 10 straight against the Bucs.
ETSU (4-1 overall, 1-1 SoCon) won the first two games 30-20 and 30-27

with five blocks. Red Bank product Tracie Grant was in on two blocks and
also picked up six kills
