ETSU volleyball falls to Belmont, 3-0

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 13, 2008) - The ETSU volleyball team lost to Belmont Saturday at the Curb Event Center in Nashville, Tenn., 3-0 (20-25,12-25,19-25).

"We keep making crucial mistakes at keys times," said head coach Lindsey Devine. "With time and patience and confidence the team will put it all together and pull out some wins."

The Bucs (2-7, 0-3 A-Sun) were led offensively by Lauren Baufield (Plymouth, Minn.) who collected ten kills in the match. Whitney Cogburn (Kingsport, Tenn.) tallied 18 assists for the Bucs, while Jen Neice (Allen, Texas) led ETSU in the back with nine digs.
