WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Aug. 31, 2013) – The ETSU volleyball team picked up a split on the final day of the Deacon Invitational as the Bucs swept East Carolina (25-11, 25-21, 25-14) to wrap up the tournament and earn their first win of the season.


Bucs fight but fall to UNCG in five

(Aug. 30, 2013) – The ETSU volleyball team dug itself in a hole early, and despite fighting back to win the third and fourth sets, the Bucs couldn’t cap off the rally as UNC Greensboro held on for a five-set win (23-25, 23-25, 25-22, 25-21, 11-15) in the 2013 season opener on Friday at the Deacon Invitational.

ETSU athletics makes two major announcements

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (June 11, 2013) – During a press conference Tuesday inside the D.P. Culp University Center, the East Tennessee State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics was officially welcomed back into the Southern Conference. In addition, it was announced that ETSU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Richard Sander has signed a one-year extension with the program.
