JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 13, 2016) – The ETSU volleyball and men’s tennis teams earned a special public recognition on Wednesday, as both squads ranked among the top 10 percent of the nation’s programs in their respective sports in the NCAA’s annual Academic Progress Rate.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 12, 2016) – ETSU Head Volleyball Coach Lindsey Devine and her staff announced the addition of Madison Mudd (Louisville, Ky.) and Aya Thegenus-Lechin (Deerfield Beach, Fla.) Tuesday. Mudd and Thegenus-Lechin join Kaela Massey (Brentwood, Tenn.) as a part of the Bucs’ 2016 recruiting class.
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (January 19, 2016) - Thirty ETSU student-athletes earned spots on the Fall 2015 Academic All-Southern Conference team on Tuesday as announced by the league office.
CULLOWHEE, N.C. (Nov. 23, 2015) – ETSU setter Kristen Favre (Plano, Texas) was named to the SoCon All-Tournament Team following the conference championship match Monday evening at the Ramsey Center in Cullowhee, N.C.
CULLOWHEE, N.C. (Nov. 22, 2015) – The East Tennessee State University volleyball team’s season came to an end Sunday in the SoCon semifinals as it dropped a four-set decision to Chattanooga (18-25, 25-18, 21-25, 18-25). The Bucs finish the 2015 season with an overall record of 19-12 and 9-7 in SoCon play.
CULLOWHEE, N.C. (Nov. 21, 2015) – A week after dropping its regular season finale to Samford at Brooks Gym, the East Tennessee State University volleyball team defeated the Bulldogs, 3-2, (22-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-27, 15-13) in the SoCon quarterfinals Saturday at the Ramsey Center.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 20, 2015) - The ETSU volleyball team will head to Cullowhee, N.C. this weekend for the Southern Conference Tournament. The Bucs, who are the No. 5 seed, will take on the No. 4 seed Samford Saturday at the Ramsey Center. First serve between the Bucs and Bulldogs is scheduled for noon.
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Nov. 18, 2015) – The East Tennessee State University volleyball team had four players recognized by the conference Wednesday afternoon. The four different players recognized are the most for the program since 2006.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 14, 2015) – Samford spoiled the East Tennessee State University volleyball team’s senior day Saturday afternoon as it defeated the Bucs, 3-1 (25-16, 23-25, 19-25, 19-25). With the loss ETSU finishes the regular season with a record of 18-11 overall and 9-7 in conference matches.

GREENSBORO, N.C. (Nov. 7, 2015) – The East Tennessee State University volleyball team snapped UNC Greensboro’s 10-match winning streak Saturday evening at Fleming Gym with a 3-0 sweep of the Spartans (25-21, 27-25, 25-17).
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Nov. 4, 2015) – Behind a career-high 29 digs from Hailey Aguilar (Oswego, Ill.) and three players with double figures in kills, the East Tennessee State University volleyball team picked up its second straight four-set victory Wednesday over Wofford (25-23, 25-17, 30-32, 25-23).

MACON, Ga. (Oct. 31, 2015) – The East Tennessee State University volleyball team snapped a two-match losing streak Saturday afternoon when it knocked off Mercer, 3-1 (21-25, 25-22, 25-10, 25-22). With the win, the Bucs improve to 16-9 overall and 7-5 in league play. ETSU’s 16 victories are one shy of last season’s total.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 27, 2015) - The East Tennessee State University volleyball team has a pair of matches on tap this week. The Bucs host Furman Oct. 28 inside Brooks Gym at 6 p.m. Following its match versus the Paladins, ETSU will open a three-match road swing at Mercer Saturday at 3 p.m.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 23, 2015) – The East Tennessee State University volleyball team snapped a two-match losing skid Friday evening defeating The Citadel, 3-0 (25-19, 25-11, 25-17). The Bucs, now 15-7 overall and 6-3 in conference action, were led by senior Khadijah Wiley (Columbus, Ga.) who had 10 kills and 10 total blocks.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 22, 2015) - The ETSU volleyball team enters the second half of SoCon play this weekend when it hosts The Citadel and Western Carolina. The Bucs will host the Bulldogs at 6 p.m. Oct. 23, while they will take on the Catamounts the following day at 2 p.m.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Oct. 7, 2015) – East Tennessee State University volleyball player Briana Allmon (Flower Mound, Texas) has been named the General Shale SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week. Allmon is a nursing major and holds a 3.95 grade point average.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 29, 2015) - The East Tennessee State University volleyball team returns home to Brooks Gym for a pair of matches this week. The Bucs will take on UNC Greensboro Wednesday at 6 p.m. and will also take on Mercer Saturday at 6 p.m.
CHARLESTON, S.C. (Sept. 26, 2015) – The East Tennessee State University volleyball team won its first conference match of the season Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 victory over The Citadel (25-17, 25-21, 18-25, 25-18). With the win, the Bucs remain unbeaten against The Citadel in the all-time series (14-0).

MOREHEAD, Ky. (Sept. 18, 2015) – The East Tennessee State University volleyball team won a pair of matches Friday at the Comfort Inn-Vitational to extend its winning streak to four. The Bucs picked up a 3-0 victory over Marshall and a 3-1 win over Morehead State. With the pair of wins, ETSU improves to 7-4 this season.

CLEMSON, S.C. (Sept. 13, 2015) – Sophomore Rylee Milhorn (Kingsport, Tenn.) and Hailey Aguilar (Oswego, Ill.) were named to the all-tournament team at the Clemson Classic late Saturday evening.
CLEMSON, S.C. (Sept. 12, 2015) – A day after sweeping USC Upstate, the East Tennessee State University volleyball team collected another sweep Saturday against Presbyterian College in the final day of the Clemson Classic. The Bucs took the three frames by scores of 28-26, 25-13 and 25-20.
CLEMSON, S.C. (Sept. 11, 2015) – The East Tennessee State University volleyball team went 1-1 in the first day of the Clemson Classic Friday at Jervey Gymnaisum.

(Sept. 10, 2015) - The East Tennessee State volleyball team will compete in its third non-conference tournament this weekend as it travels to Clemson, S.C. to take part in the Clemson Classic. The Bucs, who are 3-3 this season, will face Clemson, USC Upstate and Presbyterian this weekend.

(Sept. 8, 2015) – East Tennessee State University head volleyball coach Lindsey Devine has announced the addition of Megan Devine to the team’s coaching staff as a volunteer assistant. The former ETSU standout joins the Bucs’ coaching staff after playing one season professionally in Sweden for Hylte VBK.
TROY, Ala. (Sept. 5, 2015) – The East Tennessee State University volleyball team split a pair of matches in the final day of the Troy Invitational Saturday at Trojan Arena. The Bucs swept CSU Bakersfield, 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-17), but dropped a four-set decision to Troy, 3-1 (25-15, 22-25, 17-25, 19-25).

RADFORD, Va. (August 29, 2015) – The East Tennessee State University volleyball team split a pair of matches Saturday in its final day of competition in the Virginia Tech/Radford Invitational.
BLACKSBURG, Va. (August 28, 2015) – The East Tennessee State University volleyball team dropped its season-opening match Friday afternoon to Virginia Tech, 3-0. ETSU fell in each set by identical 25-19 scores. Senior Khadijah Wiley (Columbus, Ga.) paced the Bucs with 10 kills in 21 attempts.
