NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 1, 2018) – The ETSU volleyball team had a perfect weekend at the Bruiser Showcase this weekend, downing Tulsa, UMBC, and Belmont. The Bucs didn’t drop a set, as today’s 3-0 (26-24, 25-11, 25-17) win over Belmont (0-8) improved ETSU’s overall record to 5-1.

This is the second year in a row that teams have been able to schedule a scrimmage without it impacting their overall record. ETSU volleyball earns AVCA Team Academic Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 16, 2018) – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced on Monday, that ETSU was one of 973 teams that have earned the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2017-18 season. The number breaks the previous year’s total of 835 to set an all-time high.
