2018 Season (Junior)

Played in all 35 matches starting in all but one match…Finished the year with 228 kills, 18 assists, 23 service aces, 249 digs, and 72 blocks…Registered a career-high 16 kills vs. Tennessee (Sept. 4)…Recorded a career-high 24 digs at Chattanooga (10/26)…Recorded her first career double-double vs. Tennessee (Sept. 4) finishing with 16 kills and 14 digs…Also had a double-double vs. Duke (9/9) with 19 kills and 10 digs and at Samford (10/27) with 15 kills and 17 digs...Tallied double digit kills and double digit digs in seven matches…Recorded a career-high five services aces vs. Tulsa (Aug. 31)…Led the team inn kills in seven matches and aces in six...Had six solo blocks and 66 block assists on the season...Led the team in aces in seven matches...Finished her junior year with a 1.87 kill per set average, a 2.04 dig per set average, and a .59 blocks per set average...Named the SoCon Offensive Player of the Week (10/29)...Named to the SoCon Fall Academic Team.

2017 Season (Sophomore)

Played in 92 sets…recorded a new career-high seven digs vs. UNCG (10/20)…also recorded a new career milestone of 11 blocks during the same match against UNCG (10/20)…finished second on team in total blocks (82) and blocks per set (0.89)…had a season-high 11 kills vs. Western Carolina (9/19)...named to the SoCon All-Academic Team…earned the Pinnacle Award during the SoCon Championship for having the highest GPA among championship eligible teams.

2016 Season (Freshman)
SoCon All-Freshman Team ... began career with eight straight games recording at least four blocks ... SoCon Defensive Player of the Week (Sept.5) ... had a career-high 13 kills at Clemson (9/9) ... at Samford had a career-high four service aces (9/24) ... had a career-high three assists vs. The Citadel (10/22) ... registered a career-high seven blocks vs. Wofford (10/28) ... had four games during 2016 with at least seven blocks ... ended the season ranking second in the SoCon in blocks per set with 1.23

About Massey
Massey earned several accolades playing at Brentwood High School where she was a four-year varsity starter…The Brentwood, Tenn. native is a two-time All-District selection and was named the MVP of the district as a senior…In addition to All-District accolades, Massey was named as an AVCA Under Armor All-American Honorable Mention and Region MVP this past season… She also was a player on three state championship teams at Brentwood High School…Massey has also excelled in the classroom as she was named the JMB Scholar-Athlete of the Month and to the Impact Athletic Honors Tennessee State Team…She was also a member of the National Honor Society and has been named to the honor roll in each of the past three years.

Born Nov. 14, 1997...Daughter of Nina and Troy Massey...Mother played basketball at Lipscomb University...Plans to major in nursing...Chose ETSU because of the atmosphere on and off the court and for the ETSU Nursing Program.
