KENNESAW, GA. (Jan. 26, 2007) - The number five will be the Lady Bucs lucky number this weekend as they are in search of their fifth consecutive win and their fifth straight conference road victory. A win for ETSU will mark its first five-game winning streak since Feb. 12-March 4, 2000 when they won six straight, and it will also mark the Lady Bucs first five-game conference road winning streak in school history.
ETSU (11-7, 7-1) and
Kennesaw State (8-10, 4-4) has won five of its last nine and two of its last three in the A-Sun. The Lady Owls are coming off a 73-68 overtime win over UNF last Saturday, thanks to a career-high 22-point effort from freshman Rosetta Hollis. This weekend the WBCA is encouraging that its membership, all coaching staffs and game day support staffs help bring the women's basketball world together in a show of support for all coaches who are battling cancer.
