Blacksburg, Va. (Dec. 18, 2006) - The ETSU women's basketball will conclude its season long five-game road trip Monday night when they roll into Blacksburg, Va. and face ACC foe Virginia Tech. The Lady Bucs are currently 3-1 on the trip, and look to make it four out of five when they head into the Cassell Coliseum for a 7 p.m. tip.

Virginia Tech has won the last three meetings in this series, and five of the six games played on their home court. The Lady Bucs lone win came Dec. 10, 1977 when they defeated the Hokies 78-57. The all-time series is tied at eight, and this will mark the first-ever meeting for both coaches in the series. The last win in the series for ETSU was a 74-56 victory on Jan. 21, 1986.

Three ETSU members will be making a visit to their home state Monday evening. Freshmen Latisha Belcher (Ridgeway) and TaRonda Wiles (Danville), along with assistant Matt Smith (Richmond) are all from Virginia.
