JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (June 13, 2013) – ETSU women’s basketball head coach Brittney Ezell announced Thursday the addition of Laura Barry to the Lady Bucs’ coaching staff.
NEW YORK (June 6, 2013) – ETSU women’s basketball head coach Brittney Ezell has been selected as one of 30 coaches from across the country to participate in the Center for Coaching Excellence by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), June 10-12, at Columbia University in New York City.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 15, 2013) – First-year ETSU women’s basketball head coach Brittney Ezell announced Wednesday the signing of guard Jasmine Hotchkins (Phoenix, Ariz.) to a national letter of intent to join the Buccaneers women’s basketball program for the 2013-14 season.

(April 29, 2013) – The ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Monday that upon the recommendation of interim Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Richard Sander, ETSU President Dr. Brian Noland will seek approval from the Tennessee Board of Regents to hire Brittney Ezell as the Buccaneers’ next head coach for women’s basketball.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 12, 2013) – ETSU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Richard Sander announced Tuesday that women’s basketball head coach Karen Kemp has decided to retire.
MACON, Ga. (March 6, 2013) – Offensive inefficiency from the Lady Bucs and improved offensive output from the Hatters in the second half doomed No. 7 ETSU as No. 2 Stetson was able to accumulate a 14-point lead late and hung on to defeat the Blue and Gold, 66-55, on Wednesday evening inside Hawkins Arena in the Atlantic Sun Championship quarterfinals.
MACON, Ga. (March 6, 2013) – The No. 7 seed ETSU Lady Bucs will begin a "new season" in an Atlantic Sun Championship quarterfinal matchup with the No. 2 seed Stetson Hatters on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. in Macon, Ga. inside Hawkins Arena.

(Feb. 23, 2013) – A last second, desperation heave from three-point range pushed the game into overtime for the Lady Bucs, but the Blue and Gold couldn’t respond to an offensive flurry in the extra period by Jacksonville as ETSU dropped a 90-81 decision to JU on Saturday afternoon inside Veterans Memorial Arena.

(Feb. 11, 2013) – After dropping a 74-65 decision to Stetson on the first leg of the Sunshine State road trip, ETSU will look to snap a two-game losing streak when it travels to Fort Myers, Fla. to take on the Atlantic Sun-leading Florida Gulf Coast Eagles on Monday, Feb. 11, at 7:05 p.m. ET inside Alico Arena.

(Feb. 9, 2013) – The Lady Bucs clawed back but a 25-5 run by the Stetson Hatters to end the first half, which included an eight minute streak without a made field goal, proved to be too much for ETSU to overcome as it dropped a 74-65 decision to SU on Saturday afternoon inside the Edmunds Center.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Jan. 26, 2013) - The Lady Bucs used a combination of attacking the basket and finally hitting from three in the second half to take a lead with four minutes remaining. Unfortunately, ETSU quickly went cold from three as the North Florida Ospreys put together a run to seal the game, 62-56, on Saturday afternoon inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletics Center.

(Jan. 7, 2013) – Looking to build upon its first Atlantic Sun victory of the season, a 80-74 victory at Lipscomb, ETSU closes the road trip with a visit to Highland Heights, Ky. to take on the Northern Kentucky Norse on Monday evening inside the Bank of Kentucky Center. The match-up will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools in NKU’s first season at the Division I level.
NASHVILLE (Jan. 5, 2013) – Searching for their first win in over a month, the Lady Bucs got back on the right path with a 80-74 win against Lipscomb Saturday evening inside Allen Arena. The win against the Lady Bisons makes it 12 straight victories versus Lipscomb since joining the Atlantic Sun Conference in 2005.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (Dec. 28, 2012) – An 18-7 UNC run to close out the first half and a subsequent 17-0 run to start the second half was too much for the Lady Bucs to handle as they dropped a 85-44 decision to the nationally-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels on Friday afternoon inside Carmichael Arena.

MACON, Ga. (Dec. 26, 2012) – ETSU redshirt-sophomore Tiana Burley (Camilla, Ga.) was tabbed the Atlantic Sun Women’s Basketball Newcomer of the Week, the league announced Wednesday afternoon. Burley is the first Lady Buc to be honored with the Newcomer of the Week award this season and is the second to be recognized by the league after junior Destiny Mitchell (Bluffton, Ga.) was named Player of the Week on Dec. 4.
AMES, Iowa (Dec. 20, 2012) – The ETSU women’s basketball game at Iowa State, scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 20, at 8 p.m. ET, will not be played on its original date because of travel problems for the Lady Bucs. The schools are looking at possibly rescheduling the game if an agreeable date can be identified. Further details will be released once that decision is made.
AMES, Iowa (Dec. 19, 2012) – The ETSU women’s basketball team hits the road for the fifth time this season as they continue non-conference play with a trip to Ames, Iowa to take on the Iowa State Cyclones at 8 p.m. ET inside Hilton Coliseum.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Dec. 18, 2012) – The ETSU women's basketball team battled back from trailing by only four points at halftime and took a one point lead with 12:59 left in the second half. From that point on ETSU was unable to halt the Mountaineers’ surge, surrendering a 36-5 run to end the half, resulting in an 85-57 defeat.

BATON ROUGE, La. (Dec. 13, 2012) – The LSU Lady Tigers took a 21-point lead into halftime, and coasted the rest of the way to defeat the ETSU women’s basketball team, 76-42, on Thursday night at the Maravich Center.
