Sophomore promoted from a walk-on to a scholarship player
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 20, 2013) – Sophomore guard Chandler Christopher (Greenville, Tenn.) has been elevated from walk-on status to a scholarship player for the Lady Bucs, ETSU head coach Brittney Ezell announced Monday.
The Greenville native played in 10 games last season as a true freshman, logging 5.5 minutes played per game. A season-high five points was netted by the guard on Feb. 4 against Northern Kentucky, preceded by snatching a season-best five rebounds in an 80-74 win at Lipscomb on Jan. 5.
Christopher joins guards Jett Bridges (Miramar, Fla.) and Jasmine Hotchkins (Phoenix, Ariz.) as scholarship signees for the 2013-14 season.
