Autumn Lockwood joined the ETSU Strength and Conditioning staff in the summer of 2018 as a graduate assistant. She has worked primarily with the men's and women’s basketball teams.
Prior to becoming a graduate assistant, Lockwood served as an assistant football strength coach at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She developed and implemented nutrition packets for preseason, in-season, and off-season schedules based on body composition and goals. Lockwood also implemented, demonstrated, and helped coach training methodologies, including Triphasic Training, Velocity Based Training, and Conjugate training for members of the UNLV football team. Lockwood was a strength and condition intern at UNLV before being promoted to the assistant football strength coach.
Before her time with the UNLV football team, Lockwood got her start at the University of Arizona where she was responsible for running the in-season Arizona Cheer team’s warm up and strength training three times a week. She was also responsible for the daily weight room set up and break down.
Lockwood is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and also has certifications in adult first aid, CPR, and AED.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology from the University of Arizona in 2015. Lockwood was also a member of the University of Arizona women’s soccer team from June 2012 to January 2014.
