Johnson City, Tenn. -- East Tennessee State women's golf head coach Katie Weiss announced Wednesday the signing of two golfers that have committed to play at ETSU during the 2000-01 season.
Alisha Few, a London, Ontario, Canada native and Danielle O .Reilly of Whistler, British Columbia, Canada are the two women .s golfers that complete the 2001 signing class for the Bucs.
They will join a Buccaneer squad that loses just one senior and will return all of their top players from the 2000-01 season. Included in that group are rising seniors Mimmie Dymling and Catalina Zuluaga. Dymling led the Bucs in stroke average at 79.0 per round and was named to the All-Southern Conference team. Zuluaga finished second on the team with a 79.9 stroke average and won Southern Conference Women .s Golfer of the Week honors after finishing seventh (76-77=153) at the William and Mary Invitational on Mar. 31-Apr. 1.
The 2000-01 came to a close for the Bucs on April 17 as they finished in fourth in the Southern Conference Championships from Boone, N.C.
