Johnson City, Tenn.-- East Tennessee State junior women's golfer Mimmie Dymling was named to the All-Southern Conference women's golf team following the conclusion of the SoCon Women's Golf Championship from Boone, N.C.
Dymling led the Buccaneers in stroke average during the 2000-01 season with 79 strokes per round. She finished 10th in the Southern Conference Championship (77-84=161), her third top-10 finish of the year. Her best finish of the season was sixth (76-78=154) at the Bradford Creek Spring Invitational in Greenville, N.C.
The SoCon Championship was the finale of the ETSU season. As a team, the Buccaneers finished in fourth place in the tournament, shooting a two-round total of 671 (328-343) in the weather-shortened event.
