Zuluaga Named Southern Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week Johnson City, Tenn.-- Coming off a seventh place finish in the William and Mary Invitational last weekend, East Tennessee State’s Catalina Zuluaga was named Southern Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week, released Thursday.

Zuluaga, a junior from Cali, Colombia, tied with ETSU teammate Mimmie Dymling for seventh at the invitational, both shooting two-round 153’s. The duo led the team to a fourth place team finish, ETSU’s second consecutive top five.

Zuluaga is second on the Bucs in scoring average, trailing Dymling, at 80.3. Her finish is her best of the 2000-01 season and is her best since another seventh place finish in the John Kirk/Lady Panther Classic in November of 1999.

The Buccaneers return to action on April 7-8 at the James Madison “Lady Dukes” Invitational in Harrisonburg, Va. -BUCS-
