Johnson City, Tenn. -- Junior Mimmie Dymling shot a 4-over par 75 on the final day to finish in a tie for 13th individually, leading East Tennessee State to an eleventh place finish at the East Carolina Lady Pirate Fall Intercollegiate from Greenville Country Club in Greenville, N.C.
The Buccaneers shot a combined 650 (+82) to finish 32 strokes behind champions East Carolina, hosts of the tournament. Southern Conference foe Western Carolina finished 14th in the two-day event with a total of 673.
Sophomore Catalina Zuluaga finished in a tie for fifth place after the first day, but shot a 10-over par 81 on day two to finish in a tie for 16th. Freshman Kristen Fletcher shot a 12-over par 83 on the second day to finish in a tie for 64th. Freshman Lauren Rice and freshman Amanda Ovington rounded out the Buccaneer contingency as Rice finished 69th (+33) and Ovington finished 73rd (+36).
Kate Allison of Winthrop claimed the individual title after shooting a two-day total of 144 (+2).
The Buccaneers return to the links when they travel to Charleston to compete in the Patriots Point Invitational on October 9-10.
