STOCKBRIDGE, Ga.  (March 30, 2009) - Junior Sinead O'Sullivan (Galway, Ireland) fired a two-round score of 146 and finished tied for sixth place on the individual leaderboard, powering the ETSU women to a second place showing in the team standings following Monday's first and second round action in the John Kirk/Lady Panther Intercollegiate at the Eagle's Landing Country Club.

The Buccaneers, who finished second in this event one year ago, finished the day at 590, and are tied with former Southern Conference rival Furman for second place. Host Georgia State holds the top spot at 588. Individually, Stefanie Kenoyer of Furman leads the field by two strokes at 142.

Along with O'Sullivan's strong effort, she was joined by a pair of teammates in the Top 10, as senior Lucy Gould (Bargoed, Wales) and freshman Nina Muehl (Vienna, Austria) both tied for 10th at 149. In addition, juniors Laura Jansone (Jurmala, Latvia) and Kennie Leigh Eisenhower (Newport) are tied for 21st.

As they enter Tuesday's third and final round, the Bucs will be looking for their second straight team victory after having captured the UNCW Lady Seahawk Classic just one week ago. For more on ETSU women's golf and a complete wrap up of the final round, visit ETSUBucs.com.
