ETSU holds second place in the field

GREENSBORO, Ga. (Feb. 19, 2022) – The ETSU women’s golf team is the sole holder of second place following the second round of the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational.

ETSU was led today by Sophie Bert and Hollie Muse (Liverpool, England). Bert and Muse tied for fourth place in the player leaderboard today.

Bert was on fire today, moving up 12 spots in the rankings. Bert had five bogeys in the first round. Today, she finished the second round with four birdies and bogeys. Bert goes into the final round with 147 (+3).

Muse continued momentum from yesterday in the second round. Muse had two birdies, a bogey, and two double bogeys today. She finished the last six holes going par. Muse is going into round three with a 147 (+3).

North Florida moved to the top standings today with a 294 (+6), climbing to 19-over-par combined. North Florida is followed in the rankings by ETSU (+21) and tied Delaware and Florida Atlantic (+27).

Kaysie Harrelson of Georgia Southern has climbed four spots up to the top of the playing field with 143 (+1). Mindy Herrick (E) of North Florida and Esme Hamilton (+2) of Chattanooga finish out the top three.

ETSU looks to take the lead and win the title at the Reynolds lake Oconee Invitational heading into Sunday’s final 18 at 10 a.m.
