MESA, Ariz. (Mar. 11, 2022) – The ETSU women’s golf team ended the first day of the 2022 Clover Cup in ninth place. Sera Hasegawa (Gifu, Japan) led the Bucs in today's round.
ETSU finished in ninth place in the first day of the 2022 Clover Cup. The Bucs finished the day seven-over-par (295).
Hasegawa ended today in second place among players. Hasegawa had only two bogeys on holes three and 13. She had seven birdies on holes four, eight, 10, 11, 12, 15, and 16. Hasegawa enters round two five-under-par (67).
Hollie Muse (Liverpool, England) and Alex Crafton (Lake Mary, Fla.) ended today’s round tied for 38th place. Both are currently three-over-par (75). Muse carded three bogeys on holes one, nine, and 15, and six birdies. Crafton had two birdies, three bogeys, and one double-bogey in today’s round.
TCU leads the tournament after ending the day four-under-par (284), followed by Clemson and LSU. Both teams went two-under-par (286).
Ingrid Lindblad of LSU leads the player leaderboard after carding a 65 (-7). Lindblad is followed by; Hasegawa with seven-under-par (67) and Jennie Park of Texas A&M with four-under-par (68).
ETSU takes the course with New Mexico and North Carolina tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. (MST) for day two of the 2022 Clover Cup. Fans are encouraged to follow along as live stats will be provided by Golfstat.
