Women’s golf wraps up play at Illini Invitational

Buccaneers look ahead to Cabo later this month 

MEDINAH, Ill. (Oct. 11, 2022) – A shorthanded ETSU women’s golf team concluded play at the Illini invitational at Medinah on Tuesday, finishing in 15th place with a score of 910 (304-301-305).

Kentucky won the team competition in Illinois with a 34-under-par 830, Auburn took second place at 835 and San Jose finished in third place. Georgia’s Jenny Bae won the tournament with a 16-under-par 200 (67-67-66).

Hollie Muse (Liverpool, England) led the Bucs with a 5-over-par 222 (78-69-74). The team’s original No. 1 player, Sophie Bert (Deurle, Belgium), was unable to finish the tournament due to injury.

The Bucs return to action Friday, Oct. 28th as they head to Cabo, Mexico for TCU’s Battle at the Beach.
