WALLACE, N.C. (March 14, 2023) – The ETSU women’s golf team concluded play at the River Landing Classic on Tuesday afternoon. Making her spring debut, sophomore Sophie Bert (Deurle, Belgium) finished in fifth place, while the Bucs finished sixth as a team.
Bert moved up three spots on the final day, shooting a 1-over-par 73. She made the third-most birdies among tournament players with eight and finished with a score of 5-over-par 221 (74-73-73).
Alex Crafton (Lake Mary, Fla.) and Hollie Muse (Liverpool, England) both notched Top 30 finishes for the Bucs. Crafton finished the tournament with a 14-over-par 230 to tie for 26th place. Muse shot 15-over-par 231 to finish in a tie for 29th.
Yanjun Liu of Princeton finished atop the individual leaderboard at even-par (216).
ETSU shot a third round 310 to finish the tournament 47-over-par (302-299-310) for sixth place. The host school, UNCW, won the tournament at 24-over-par (302-290-296).
Up next, the Bucs will head to Tallahassee, Florida for the Florida State Matchup on March 17-19.
