Senior sits eighth after first round

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (April 2, 2023) - The ETSU women’s golf team concluded first round play at the Chattanooga Classic Sunday afternoon. Hollie Muse (Liverpool, England) shot a 1-over-par 73 and is tied for 8th place among the 96 player field.

Muse played steady all day, shooting 2-over-par 38 on the front nine. She finished the day with eight pars and one birdie to shoot a 1-under-par 35 on the back nine to bring her first round total to 1-over-par 73.

Lauren Beaudreau of Notre Dame sits atop the individual leaderboard at 4-under-par 68.

ETSU sits in 12th place as a team at 21-over-par 309 just one shot back of Southern Conference opponent and tournament host Chattanooga.

The Bucs will tee off on Hole 10 starting at 9:50 a.m. tomorrow morning and will be paired with Chattanooga and Campbell.
